Welcome to Rugby League Project

This is an archive of historical rugby league results, covering international, regional and domestic competitions. Our aim is to compile and present details of every top level rugby league competition, game, player, coach, venue, referee and more, dating back to the game's inception in 1895. The information here is curated on an entirely voluntary, part-time basis by Shawn Dollin and Andrew Ferguson, with the immense help of a number of devoted individuals amongst the rugby league community.

You can use the links above to get started. If you're not sure, we suggest trying the Calendar which makes it easy to jump to a specific year and find a corresponding list of competitions, matches and players.

Happy New Year once again! We're very proud to announce the sixth edition of Andrew Ferguson & Tim Costello's Rugby League Annual. As always you will find the most comprehensive summary of the rugby league season by far, with detailed results, match-by-match reports with scorers and teams, team summaries and breakdowns, as well as a look back at the first 30 years of Super League, a glorious tribute to Sir Billy Boston and so much more. Available now to read for free online, or download in PDF format.

The filter on player lists now supports smarter filtering. You can put column name followed by operator then numeric value. EG: tot>=50 will match players with over 50 appearances, or w%<50 matches players in the list with a win rate below 50%. This comes in handy as we head into finals time. Check out which players have the best winning records in our special NRL Finals and Super League Finals sections.
