Match Notes
Souths lost Paul Sait & Gary Stevens on Thursday when both failed fitness tests, Bob McCarthy injured a hamstring at NSW training on Thursday they were replaced by Arthur Branighan, Darrel Bampton & Herbie Timms. Bob Honan then pulled out with a leg injury on Saturday with Steve Kosta coming on the wing and Ray Branighan to the centre.
Grahame Moran retired at halftime with a foot injury and was replaced by Zac Olejarnik.
