Biography
Newtown winger was the season's leading point-scorer in 1966 with 185pts (3t, 88g). Lanigan moved to Griffith in 1969 as captain coach in the Wagga competition.

I as a blue bag follower remember bob as a sound winger and one of the most accurate front on goal kickers . Played in a competitive Newtown team that included chicka Moore ,bob keyes Ron wright , graham wilson thank you for the most fond and enjoyable years of league in the 60s vale Robert Lanigan .gave his all
