Your Say

  • knew harry. he died too young

harry was a brilliant tough hard working lock who played for his home town boggabri in 1963. read the story...the mouse that roared.. in the northern daily leader (google it) it covers that years grand final. harry was an outstanding agricultural scientist who contributed enormously to the success of faba bean crop development in northern nsw. i think he was at sydney uni when he played 1st grade for balmain. paul hassab, canterberry 1sts and a boggabri lad was in the winning team with harry in 1963.

Harry became an agricultural research scientist. His agronomist research was instrumental in the
early development of the chickpea industry in NSW. His determination and practicality would have following on from his football career.
